About Me
I currently hold my Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut. I am certified to teach Biology, General Science, and English. I have three years of full time teaching experience at the high school level. I have participated in two research projects at the University of Connecticut studying the effects of pollutants on the reproductive system of fish, and predator-prey interactions. I have also coauthored downloadable lesson plans that allow students to learn scientific concepts using real biological data for Dr. Mark Urban's laboratory website at the University of Connecticut. I spent the summer of 2013 teaching summer school at East Hartford High School and conducting a research project involving vernal pool invertebrates at the University of Connecticut. I am also a coadvisor for our school's Eco Club. Please see me or attend a meeting for more information! |
